Im using the mackie mcu controller. works good with PT12. Only thin i dont like is the master fader does not work in protools, so you have to use one of the other fader as the master.im not a big fan...

Burst Of air From monitor's??

I have a pair of Events SP8 monitors.I continue to get random burst of air from them. It's like a thumping sound but i can actually feel the air. What could this be? Both monitors.

Ivory does it for me hands down. playing the piano for 30 plus years, it fit my needs jazz,solo, what ever. Depending on your mix or how dense the material you will still have to eq and fit to taste.

stuff like percussion, if I'm ok with the stereo spread and vol, I will leave them intact and just mono the main drums, unless the perc are the main vibe of the track.

Yea, I had to use the 1080p. while i can see the full mixer now, the pt menu is hidn on top. Since i use a lot of short cuts, I'm ok with that.

sorry about the confusion. I just convert the hh from stereo to dual mono the delete the stereo and one of the mono.

I'm using the apollo quad going through a presonus speaker monitor station. When I get home I will change cables and try going directly from the apollo. Thank's for the response.

I have a pair of events sp8 monitors (powered). Out of the left monitor there is a random burst of air (bassy sounding), wether music is playing or not. Any ideas what this could be? thanks

Thanks for the replies. I was deleting the r side of these stereo files which were identical. Just wanted to make sure that was correct or not harming anything.
