Some were created in LE, and some in M-Powered. Right now, I have the LE 7.4.2.

The kernal panic happened when I had first installed the Projectmix and M-Powered...each time after I booted up M-Powered, it crashed within 30...

Ok, my problem is that I can't get S-PDIF to be recognized by PTs as an option...it's italicized and says n/a, for the path. How can I get S-PDIF to be recongnized by PTs, and I guess by my M-Audio....

Ok, here's the deal. I had the G Drive going into my FW 800 port...and the M-Audio projectmix i/o going into the FW 400....this was the setup during the kernel crashes....

I simply changed cables...

Using Power Mac G5 1.8 GHz single proc... the same firewire connections as before - had the 002 Rack hooked up to the same port as the G Drive...and it worked fine....just baffling.... Don't know...

The drive is fine - just tested it, but saving to, and an opening an excel fine. This has to do with the relationship between it, and M-Powered Protools. not sure if there's an additional driver...

Solution - finally....

Digi 002 Rack (Master)
Roland 1880 (Slave)

Within Pro Tools select
Windows - Show System Setup - pull down Time Code Settings - check MTC to Port - select Port

AND

Setups - Edit Midi...

Simple MIDI question.

I'm just simply trying to hook up my components via midi as follows:

Scenario 1:
Digi 002 Rack (Master) sending Midi Clock to Roland 1880, which in turn will send Midi Clock to my Akai MPC...
