The drift is immediate.....I can see it within seconds of bringing the track in.
That said it must be sample rate.
I had made the error earlier so was aware of the need to match...

I've got a IMAC with PT 8 and a Fast track ultra. I am running the system with an external Cavalry 1TB harddrive. My system is set up so all data flows to and from the hard drive as I am recording....

Actually I had the ac attached. BBennett was correct and all I had to do was change the i/o setting to "stereo mix" instead of "last used" when starting a new session and and I got all 8 channels...

I'll bet you're right. It would not be the first time I have been challanged by the in/out processing of the Ultra. I will avoid the last setting option and see if I can resolve this....thanks Ray
