Fix a Power harness issue?

Hello,

you shouldn't have to re-install, turn the computer off, turn the 002 on and then reboot the system, then luanch PT.

The only reason i re-installed so many times cuz i couldn't figure out what...

Just turn your Monitor Control knob to the right...that'll make your mix "Louder"... sorry but i agree with Graveleye... the loudness race is outta control!!!

I used to get this problem until someone mention and un-documented Power up/Power down sequence, for some reason when i upgraded to PT 7.0 i was not able to just turn off my PT hardware and come back...

Hate to break it to ya but it's back in v7.0, haven't installed 7.1 yet so don't know?... I had it in 6.1 and now in 7.0, this is the most distracting thing i've ever had to deal with... it's Lame!

i've had this strange type of behaviour as well, only my mouse would turn to crosshairs????... reboot was all that would fix it... or going into the control panel -> mouse and selecting a different...

how do you know your system has a "post-power harness problem serial number" ??? where do you find that info out?, i'd like to check into mine.

To be honest i'm not sure if i rebooted right after deleting the contents, but thats the basic routine with me with this problem, as soon as it starts happening i'll reboot and it fix's the problem...

I tried the deleting the contents of Prefetch and it did nothing, I also tried switching it just to 1 processor (as mentioned by someone that solved his problem) and that does nothing for me i'm sure...
