I liked using an overdrive pedal into the Eleven Rack as well as keeping a DI but using an Ultra G so it goes through XLR with a little bit of preamp gain. I never liked the guitar in sounds myself...

That's pretty nice...I've been running a lot of outboard gear and impulses trying to get that big ampy sound...maybe I'll sell $1000 worth of stuff and keep the other 900 to buy another guitar to go...

The high gain amps are noisy, I need to hear the difference though. Personally, I've been running outboard preamps and just using 11r for the cab sim but the M2 Rhythm and Lead presets are so killer...

I thought I had narrowed it down to the fix I mentioned and never turning it off with the PC still running, but started up again with the noises. Starting Cakewalk Music Creator or Pro Tools fixes...
