I hear you regarding the interaction. I think the problem with most IT departments is that they regard IT requirements as #1 and your software requirements below that, and it's hard to convince them...

The entire analog portion of the console is isolated from the protools interface. You can use the pres, the line mixer, and the monitoring section all without protools running.

I just did a full uninstall/reinstall and

1. The network drivers didn't install again and
2. I still get the personality loading error for the C|24

hm. This is a little frustrating.

Ah - found it.



Click "Install" in the network controller properties window...
Choose "Protocol"
Choose "Have Disk"
Enter the location of your Digidesign drivers folder - in my case that...

It seems the easiest (and most useful) addition would be more "styles". I'd find most useful the ability to buy style collections geared towards particular genre/sounds just as I do when I buy drum...
