I do have a load of Dante converters- MTRX, Ferrofish Pulse 16DX, Focusrite A16R (x2), Red 16 Line, X2P.

Pro Tools Ultimate/Flex allows up to 256 channels of IO natively.

Do you need to stay with Digilink?

You can get more channels with something like the Rednet PCIER card and an AX32, or the new AX64 than you can with HD Native.

No, that isn't what I was saying.
It works with The Avid Native Thunderbolt device.

In conversion quality it is pretty subtle against other pro level converters.

For me, the advantage to the MTRX is as a digital audio hub, esp for people who have lots and lots of channels in...

It is still one of the best purchases I've made.
