And Aux track is a track without the part that bangs the bits to/from the disk, an Aux still lives in the TDM/DSP world and if you insert an RTAS plugin onto in they you are need to leave and return...

I'm not sure if somebody with an expired support/update plan can open a ticket or not, even for a licensing issue. I thought they could but with a recent experience I could not see how to do that....

If the audio is staying fully TDM there is no IO Buffer use and no effect on latency.

IO buffer settings get used if you are going from the TDM to native world and back again. e.g. if you insert...

Cloud projects seem very unreliable, I'm not sure many people use them at all. I would personally not risk my work with cloud projects.

You need to stop wasting time with app manager, it's unreliable bloatware that was replaced with Avid Link, which is also unreliable bloatware. There is advice all over DUC to uninstall that...

Nice troubleshooting start there. Remember plugins can screw with your system just by being installed in Pro Tools, you don't necessarily need to instantiate (i.e. insert) them.
