On my Retina Mac Powerbook I do raw editing in PT 1st (larger faders) and then bring it into Logic Pro X for all the fun stuff. This way it is saved. Or, I will use an older version of PT on my home...

I get this when I open PT1st and I get "there was a problem downloading your project" when I open a session. NEVERTHELESS, it works (both) so there is not a "real" problem but I don't know why I get...

The MBox3 Pro is the same old one - it has worked from Day 1 for Thunderbolt users. It was the USB based MBox Mini and MBox Regular that did not work so that is what the new update is for. AVID did...

Thanks to AVID for publishing the MBox Driver today. It works. However, when plugging the mic in and recording I cannot hear the vocal I am putting down in my headphones when Low Latency monitoring...

That Clarett 2Pre you mention also has the "Air" mode which adds a whole other level to the sonic quality.
I agree - so much to be gained from the Clarett. Were I not considering a used Apogee...

The Focusrite you mention at the great price would be greater if it included the "Air" button on the front. I don't think it comes with the "Air" selection option.

I know that Apogee stopped supporting the Ensemble Firewire at Yosemite. But that is the "Official" line. Anyone here using it with El Capitan?

Darryl - I have not partitioned a drive in some years. The last time I did (Snow Leopard) I had to zero format the entire disk first.
My SSD is running El Capitan. I have an MBox3 and it's driver...
