personaly i would trust nothing less than reinstaling back to original osx with your disks, then reinstall pro tools, security updates tend to like to leave things even if you uninstall them. and...

not practical at all i can fill 100gb in a weekend+the ease of takin just a harddrive to my hd studio, you are just nit-pickin...

wont work my man u need an external, or seperate hard drive for pt to work properly. so your only real option is to daisy chain, dont worry it will work.

yeah great idea, follow mcgirr's advice and your system may not run at all on the next pt update. always get more than you need for a recording computer or its obsolete tomorrow!!!
