No... thats not what im talking about... there's a way to setup your protools so that all your recordings go to a seperate harddrive and not on your system drive (the computers harddrive). But thanks...

I wanted to know if there is another way I can export my files (songs) to a disk without using digitranslator? Also if I have PT 7.0 and I wanted to update it to 7.3.1, can I? I've been out of town...

I want to use the time shift plug in on a vocal track but the plug in doesnt show up in the insert columns for fx but it does show up in the audio suite at the top (with file, edit, track, etc...)....

Do a search with my name, I have a X7 also and have my synced up. I use the usb cable as a midi cable and then go to one of the tabs in the upper left(file,edit,etc) and look for midi >midi beat...

I dont know what I am doing wrong, but when I mix my song the way I like it and bounce it disk, when I try to play it on windows media player. A box pops up and tells me that a audio codec is needed...

Everything will be ready to go once you install PT because all it is used for is to authorize you using the program. You can register it, on www.ilok.com (http://www.ilok.com)

Dell Inspirion 6000 1.6Ghz, 2GB ram, 4 USB, 1 ilok(4 pin)....
My experience has been pretty good, but I wish I would of got one with more processing speed(i.e. 2.0Ghz or higher). Im in the process...

Nevermind, the Fantom drives dont have the Oxford 911 chipset so it wouldn't work well with Protools... Plus they say Glyph works perfectly with Protools...
