Trying again...
I tried to run Trasher several times. I re-installed pro tools, and got some improvement.
I/O, zoom and scrolling is now normal, but something has happened in the colour management.

I was used to RME drivers and how straight foreward everything was... not so much straight forewardness with Antelope

But recording without the need of ADAT worked

The Orion Studio really sounds good, but software and driveres from Antelope can be a bit problematic.
Guess I will record with 12 mic,s instead of 18 :)

When I log into my Avid account and try to download certain products nothing happens.
While downloading pro tools installers is ok, I cant download Velvet, among others.

Actually found the answer and solution in another thread. Its the installer that kills som files in win10, not the driver itself...

Well, to your surprise sometimes a win7 driver is used with win10.... The strange thing is that on my old computer(really old core2quad stuff) I also had win10 and used the Mbox 2 mini without...

When I install the driver for Mbox 2 mini, it seems that something with that driver...

Why not try TSE X50 at least for hi-gain... S-gear is also a good plugin.

On the other hand, its really hard to reproduce the same sound/tone as the players you mention. Its all in the hands....

I ended up returning a new pc this summer. A i9 10900x. Expensive... almost 3000$... of course better than my old...

16 Gb ram (only 1200 MHz)
Nvidia Geforce gtx 970

Will it be a significant step up from my i7 980x pc?
