G4\'s and serial/USB for 64XTC

My PT Mix++ has now moved over to a new(er) G4, 'cept for MIDI (old SampleCell II) and SYMPTE (for the Studer).

Any success with serial to USB adapters? I want to continue running my Opcode...

Well, mine took about 10 days - shipped within Canada, to a far North destination... Mine is a single processor. Haven't loaded programs, hardware as of yet, but the dual speed fan still seems to be...

Well,

My new/OS9/10, 1.25 Ghz model just arrived: still has the dual speed fan that kicks in and out. Haven't installed PT yet (waiting on more RAM and doing all HW & SW installs only once)....

I had the record space originally allocated to 60 minutes, but trimmed it down to 15, then 10 then 5 then 3 before i rebooted. I set it back to 10 minutes, and tried on the system...

Thanks for the replies guys: I have the record space setting at 60 minutes (in prefs), but will try a lower value.
