I get to see the window, and then when its going through the plug ins, thats when it crashes. This sucks that I'm going to have to get the waves update plan in order to be able to use them.

Yeah, well i unistalled now, and tried to reinstall starting at 7.4 and its doing the same thing, I notice its doing it when its going through the plug ins so Im trying to figure out what needs to be...

I just upgraded my Quad core G5 to Mac OSX 10.5.5 from 10.4.11? in expectation of PT 8 and now I cant launch Pro Tools 7.4.2cs2

it might have something to do your digital i/o's. i have a keyboard with optical spdif at 48, and i can run 48 or 96 sessions with no problem but if i go to 44 or 88 i will get the cracklin.

You would hear something strange in the normal play if they tried to record the message in reverse and then simply play it right again. But you dont hear anything "funny" on the verse of stairway to...

oh, i forgot to mention, so i have the vinyl myself and i recorded the verse, then reversed it and sure enough it was the same message i was hearing on you tube. ITS REAL!!!

I have them in a treated custom built room and i like em. No matter what speakers and what room they are always gonna be off, but some alot more than others so its just a matter of getting use to...

Really??? I thought I would see solid answers here. Hold down shift when you press your record button(s), command + spacebar, F12 or 3 on the numeric keypad, play 1 octave lower than regular.
