Any good way to use the headphone outputs as if line level?

Hi all. I am considering installing a summing mixer. I'd use the D-sub line outs (line outputs 1 - 8 on back of Carbon). If I wanted to also patch audio as routed to the 4 headphone jacks into...

Re: Any Carbon users who were using UAD Apollo before?

I'll chime in as someone who's a LIFER with Pro Tools. I tried Logic, Luna, Cubase, etc. over the years, but it's always back to PT for me. I learned on tape, used PT for over 2 decades, so this is...

Today I got a reply from Avid - wow - great service! Someone at Avid Support saw this DUC post and emailed me.

So, the distortion I was experiencing is a known firmware issue. I rolled back PT...

Re: Profire 2626 DAE or ASIO or CoreAudio

Re: Profire 2626 DAE or ASIO or CoreAudio

I see - thanks - still learning about the 2626 - I was wondering if maybe you had them set up in 'aggregate mode' - each connected via firewire and then therefore could push it to 96k... but I must...

Re: Profire 2626 DAE or ASIO or CoreAudio

Sounds great - can you elaborate a little on this? What sample rate? Could you try 96K for all 24 inputs? How was the computer reacting? And, sorry of this is too off base, but I wonder if we can now...

Re: Structure LE database problem
