No this is a real issue. I often use aux tracks to bus brass instruments or vocal harmonies, for global treatment and reverb sends.

Weird things happening when importing aux tracks from one session to another, destination track seems almost dead, no meter, no sound...

A possible explanation :
- Wav files produced by Pro Tools have position metadata written into them, I doubt that this is the case of an mp3 file

No they are legit interleaved files but ProTools wants to split them on two mono tracks for some unknown reason...

Well this is the first thing I did and it didn't do any good. 5' later, importing from logic worked perfectly. Maybe the way the other Daw (Cubase) formatted the Interleaved files

Thanks, but perhaps you missed the point. All plugins, or at least all Avid plugins obey certain rules. And one of them is that when you want to fine tune a specific parameter, you use the Command...

Somehow Time Adjuster does not respond to the Command key modifier for fine adjustment of the sample delay, this drives me nuts. It used to... I think ?

Ok so you may not know (or not) that the mp3 encoding is a 32 bit float process : So why does Pro Tools truncate the output to 16 bit before encoding to mp3 ?
