Hush only works on Silicon Macs so maybe that’s what’s giving problems if you’re on a non-silicon Mac?

I can’t seem to find any info about this being qualified for Pro Tools. I only see 11.5.2. Has anyone updated to 11.6. I’d like to keep current on this OS just in case with that ‘zero click’ malware...

Just for verification I tried the same experiment on a different computer, running a different OS (10.8.5 instead of 10.9.2). Even when using the Factory Default setting I get the same results.

It is the same even on clips with no clip gain applied to them.
