Native is Native. I don’t think you get that much difference in Native mode. I have never seen it vary that much between pro interfaces accept when used with a DSP.

I have both.

I would says there are pros and cons to both.

Apollo X:

Pro:
Console allows you to use the interface with all apps.
Luna Allows a nice integrated approach to recording

I can also confirm that the actual fan noise coming from the Carbon is negligible. I actually don't hear it at all. I did have a problem with the Mac fan noise that was fixed when I turned off turbo...

I am also having a problem with the fan noise and high CPU. I noticed that the AvidAppManHelper is eating up a lot of CPU and mem too.

If you are on a Mac and want to install the individual apps then you can right click on the installer and say, "show contents" and then go to, I think... This is all from memory... The packages...

I found this error occured when certain audio interfaces are chosen. I selected the interface i wanted to use and it worked.

If you used HUI mode before EUCON was supported then you have to take HUI control emulation out in System Preferences before it will work with EUCON. I found that is what fixed it for me.
