Question Make PRE-ROLL stick in each pass in loop record mode?

pre-roll only kicks in on the first pass when you loop record multiple takes. But often i want to re record parts right inbetween other parts. having pre roll work on each pass would let me record...

does anyone know if this is going to happen for protools. Both Logic pro and Nuendo 3 have this. basically you press one button and all the effects on a track or tracks are "frozen" really bounced...

MAC INDEXING service locks up my mac!!!!!!

Oh! you use logic on a mac too? I thought you were pc. I just dropped my pc for an ibook so i can run logic 6. The freeze feature made me do it. Are you thinking of going to 6?
