Pro Tools 9 Native definitely has this issue.

I was having these problems on M-Powered 8, and I cross-graded to Pro tools, REALLY hoping this bug would go away, but it made an appearance this...

Felix, hate to say it, but I'm pretty sure 8.0.3 has issues with missing regions as well.

good to know about the soundhack fix for these corrupt audio files.

OK, I just had this issue again on a totally different external firewire drive. Everything appears fine when I close the session, but the next time I open, one missing file. File appears in Audio...

I just had this exact experience last week... could it be related to the new version 8.0.3 on snow leopard? I just recently updated...

It's always just one or two files, seems totally random. ...
