Yep. When you get to AppData under C:\Users\S6User it defaults to hidden.

Maps are purged from that folder if you have this enabled:
Settings > System > Auto-Load > Clear Custom Knob Maps When...

(1) Maps always get saved with the session (assuming you have the Blue Star ticked under WS). The preference under Settings > System > Auto-Load simply determines if you want to LOAD...

Try this.

Disassociate (touch to remove) the Blue Star from Pro Tools from the WS page.

Create a new Pro Tools session. Add a new track and an insert for a plug-in you know you mapped...
