Cool Edit is used a lot in Radio, from what I have seen... as for being better, uh.... no. IMO, it's kind of a PITA to use.

According to Allens response, my $2000 PC is now only worth $200-300.... that's $1800 less too..... also, that $3000 down $1200...

for your type of stuff, have you tried a Roland Vg-8? ES-335 sound would fit in quite nicely.....
