Switch your tracks to "tick based" the us tempo OR use Elastic Audio. There are 4 algorithms. Varispeed is the only one that effects pitch. The others are amazing but listen closely for the best fit....

If you know its a plug-in problem you should log it with the plug-in manufacture. But letting the guys as Avid know is probably a good idea as well.

What about internally bussing your tracks? Can you try that then Shift+command+K the stereo file out and open in itunes so you can play it on the internal speaker?

Yeah, its not 8.1cs1 or 8.0.4. Its Core Audio. They seriously need to fix it. Every time I go to the finder and open a window it will launch. :rolleyes:
