Hi folks,

I've gotten a couple of sessions recently where I don't see edits I'm doing in real time... like when I first make a fade, as I hold down the mouse button I can usually see the fade I'm...

Re: Windows XP Pro x64 driver?

No, LE doesn't support 64bit XP or Vista. Probably won't for a while.

Re: Anyone using Solid State (SSD) Hrd Dris W/PT or Their Lp

I'd get one if they didn't cost more than my computer. Also, I'm not sure how they perform with continuous data writing needed for recording (it's probably fantastic). They look pretty awesome,...

Re: Play / stop flash bug...

Yep, seen is on all the 7.3 and 7.4 cs updates. It's an insanely annoying bug that I've experienced since I got my 003 back in june 07.

Re: Mix dragged through mud on the way to CD

Hey, what digi hardware are you using? Mbox, 002, 003, etc...? Also, how are you listening to the song when you mix? Headphones plugged into the headphone jack, etc?

Rack cases. chassis, etc

Hi All,

To those who have built rack mount PCs, can you give me some recommendations and opinion on the chassis you've used?... compatible motherboards... port routing... PSUs... etc?

Thanks.

Re: Volume Loss after Bouncing to Disk

Yes, there's a lot of reasons you shouldn't mix with the headphone amp volume turned all the way up. The primary one is that if your recording is mixed at a level consistent with a commercial CD,...

Re: Volume Loss after Bouncing to Disk

Yes, if you've been mixing with the headphone volume cranked all the way up, the volume of a commercial CD imported into protools will probably be very loud. In my limited experiences with the 001, I...

Re: Volume Loss after Bouncing to Disk

The headphone amp in the 001 has a volume nob on it. Turning that nob up or down has absolutely no control over the level your song gets bounced at. None what-so-ever.
What you need to do is set...

Re: 7.4 time stretch looks interesting

So... did they fix the bug where pressing the "play" buton only works 1/3 of the time? And I don't mean fixed like it was "fixed" in cs3, I mean fixed like when you hit the play button, protools...

Re: Is a G4 ibook good enough for protools recording?

I mostly concerned about tracking reliability (and low cost). I have a more powerful system to do heavy mixing. This would be for multi-track remote live recording with a 003 and a 8 channel...

Is a G4 ibook good enough for protools recording?

Hi all,

I'm having a lot of troubles with my PC laptop recording in protools with a 003, so I was thinking about picking up a mac on the cheap side to use instead. Here are the specs for the one...

Re: Q about mobile recording and Core 2 Quad?

Hi Clausiii,

I don't think either of those interfaces is very good for mobile multi-track recording. The M-audio thing only has 2 preamps, and the digi002/003 only has 4 preamps and costs $1000+...

Re: WILL VISTA VERSION BE A PAID UPGRADE(OR I WILL WAIT)
