I get this sometimes but if you hit skip all fades dosen't it recreate them once the session is open

Need more info, but if you need to run PT start with the Extensions folder. Create a new set and only turn on the PT, MIDI, OMS extensions.

Are you useing QT movies in this session? If so take the picture track out of the Edit Window and just use the 1/4 frame QT window
