Hmm, just out of curiosity, what size processor and how much ram did you have installed with this type of Mobo?
I'd be using the ASUS P5P800-VM with a 3.2Ghz processor and at least 1024MB Ram.

Thought so, but wanted to be sure....the integrated graphics will be disabled and a Radeon 9550 AGP card will be used in it's place, so....all should be good then. Thanks for the reply

Uninstall,then re-install sampletank(and everything related to it in your Digidesign folder)...when you re-install, keep an eye out for where it wants to install,the default folder it installs to...

It's probably because you only installed the VST version...the RTAS version you have to download from the "users" section of sampletank.com after you register your product

I use the following script to set my hardrive to it's original factory settings(like I just bought it)..once run, all your partitions are deleted,so you have to format and re-create partitions on it....

If you disable onboard sound and video in your BIOS you are FULLY disabling them, they will never show up in device manager again. Access your BIOS and look for onboard video and/or audio and choose...

It should be just a matter of disabling both in your BIOS,so they don't show up in device manager,installing your AGP card, and you SHOULD be good to go. good luck

Well, I'm gonna go with.."it's a bad card"..I installed on another system completely and got the same results...soon as I launch ProTools,it gets to "DAE loaded" then the mouse starts hopping all...
