Re: EUCON screen on startup

I'm also having this issue...using two monitors (although one of them is mirrored to 2 additional screens, though that shouldn't matter, all downstream from the Mac). Not a huge deal, just restarting...

Re: Premiere Pro AAF Transfer to PT

I have had this issue on and off as well. Regarding the PT 12 fix, I've noticed that sometimes I have to import & use the "link to" option first. Then I can save a copy and force to wav format. If...

Re: Mac Optical Out->Omni - constant clock issues

Is this part like...key to this? Because I just did it and so far I'm not having problems.

Fingers crossed that it keeps working, but if that's a huge thing then, yeah. Thanks for that!

Re: Mac Optical Out->Omni - constant clock issues

Yeah, thought that #2 should work, but it isn't for some reason.

For #3...that's a good point. I can't believe I missed that. Will have to source another optical cable and try it out. Though I'm...

Mac Optical Out->Omni - constant clock issues

So, I know this has been posted about before, but I've searched around and can't seem to find enough info.

It's the ol' trying to get my mac's optical audio into my Omni, primarily for purposes of...

Re: Scroll to track? (right click/opt cmd f)

That would be the "Auto-bank" function - but it gets kind of annoying if I'm jumping around a session quite a bit, and depending on the position of the track, doesn't always seem to work that well.

Scroll to track? (right click/opt cmd f)

I know people have talked a lot about the Auto-bank to selected track feature and its working/non-working state, but I can't seem to find anything about good ol' scroll to track. Working on older...

Re: Is there any way to approximate a VCA setup on MC Control

Yeah, you can't -quite- do it the way it works on the Icon, but you can either do the memory locations trick, or you can do it via groups & the group spill function on the touch screen. Doing that,...

Re: Is there any way to approximate a VCA setup on MC Control

I haven't used any of the boards you mentioned, but if they work similarly to Icon, are you referring to how you can do VCA spill?

DAE 9073 when scrubbing PT HD 10.3.9 (no, I'm not running off my system drive)

I'm getting pretty consistent DAE -9073 errors whenever I try scrubbing on my work computer. I want to say that it's been doing this for a while, possibly ever since I started using it (I've only...

Re: Sound Designer I files

I know they're Sound Designer files based on Finder. Usually, SDII files show up saying "Sound Designer II" under File Type, and they'll open up in Pro Tools, Soundminer, and SoundGrinder (which I've...

So, at my studio we've got some really old sound files that appear to be Sound Designer I format, not Sound Designer II. Converting from SDII is pretty easy, but I can't find anything that'll...

Re: Workspace Browser/Digibase Efficiency/speed

Ha, well that's a bummer. Looks like general consensus is that it's just not...great...I'll try and keep at it for now, and will try the catalogs idea, but I'm also going to try and invest in some...

Re: Multiple videos in one track - Crash?

I don't -think- it's corrupted videos...they all seem to play fine on their own, nothing looks weird when examining them in MediaInfo and Quicktime. I could try to convert them again, maybe, but...

Re: Alt-menu keyboard shortcuts - Alt+F for file menu, etc.

OK, interesting. I was messing around and realized that if I actually press the keys in completely sequential order, it works. So, I pressed alt, and let go, then pressed W, and let go, and then I...

I think that these are called alt menu commands, but maybe there's another technical name for it that'd help me find what I'm looking for.

Basically, I'm looking at how in most programs on...
