Update: Although I was not able to proof that for 100% it seems that the sample/tick combination had caused that effect of creating these gaps - at least after changing the midi tracks to sample...

Interesting idea.....indeed yes - there are also three MIDI tracks included in the ALL group that I use only as spacers in EUCON banks of 8 tracks.....the only thing I wouldn't understand in this...

My specs are:
MacBook Pro M1 Max 2021, 64GB RAM
MacOS Ventura latest version
PT 2024.3 running natively in "Silicon mode" / no Rosetta
No PT hardware / actually using a small Focusrite Scarlett...

After analyzing a little more, the problem that really causes the gap seems to be using the trimmer tool on clip A's right end before trying to snap clip B....

So the trimmer seems to make a cut...

See this screenshot - the black selected area is the selection of ONE sample....note that the gap is only a fraction of that :confused:

Yes. I woudn't HAVE to lose this functionality if you at Avid wouldn't continue stopping the cool product lines (Artist Mix, S3) for much more bulkier or much more expensive ones....:rolleyes:

I'm not talking about the control surface with this question - it's about the VST plugin inserted into the PT channel via the 360 Link wrapper....

That's definitely not true in my case - my 5,1 (initially a 2010 but pimped up later as 2012 12-core 3,46) is still a pretty useful studio workhorse (96GB RAM also help) - aside from the obvious...
