It works even with/without phantom power but non of these change the volume. I only get a good volume when i put the mic gain up nearly all the way.

Nope i left the phantom power off since it already has its power supply.

Rode NTK With Pro Tools LE 8.0.4

Im using mBox 2 Mini with PL 8.0.4 x64 in Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

I am woundering if anyone could help me out, the Rode NTK seems to be very quite even though the gain is up on the mBox 2 mini.

I don't know if it has been tested but i know for sure that PT LE 8.0 etc will work on it since it has to cores working togeather as well as 4 gb ram.

download pro tools 8 for their website and update to 8.0.3 but dont use the 64-bit (8.0.4b) audio drive. it works but plays back robotic sounds.

Upgrade to 1-4GB Ram since PT uses up to 400mb to 1GB Ram.

yeah i deleted the x64 driver cause of the robotic noise. but still works with the 8.0.3 drivers on my x64 system.

when i install the x64 drivers (8.0.4b), it works fine but plays back robotic noise instead of what i recorded. But on my W7/64 the PT 8.0, 8.0.1 and 8.0.3 works with out any 64 drivers.

It did that to me when my pc was overclocked. If yours is overclocked then try to set it to default. It seemed to fix the problem for me.

Download the 8.0.3 from the website and in the folder it shoud have a programme called "Uninstall Pro Tools" use it just to make sure everything is unintalled then try to install Pro Tools LE 8.0...

I got a small mixer only for £30 and got some "3.5MM STEREO TO 2 X 6.35MM 1/4" MONO PLUG JACK CABLE" and now i can use my PT and PC sound all on the same studio monitors.

8.0.4b drivers gave problem to my win7 x64. but it seems to work when the 8.0.3 drivers is installed. So uninstall the x64 driver only then click on the PT 8.0.3 installation then just reinstall the...
