Loop Synch Option

What exactly is the loop synch option in the Session Setup window?

I could not find a decent explanation in the manual.

If I have overlooked it, please guide me to the right place, if not......

i've used them with sonnex acoustic foam and had no problem, other than the humidity of where i was at (indiana) was too much for the adhesive on the velcro

I Believe the synch problem to be legit, I haven't had this issue with PT yet, but when editing with Sonic Solutions HD, if the clocking source isn't locked to the sample rate of the session...

If it is a grounding problem it will be a hum (around 120hzish), but it sounds like you have a "very high pitched noise" which to me doesn't sound like a hum or a grounding issue... can you be more...

I've found similar things to cookachoo. My school just got 824's to replace the Gene's in one of our studios. The have pretty good bass, especially compared to the NS-10s. I was just getting used to...

I too am curious in how to make PT LE happy with MOTU 896. In my case, I have a 002 and two 896's, what do I need to do to be able to have PT recognize them. I know that the 896 drivers are just fine...
