Is avid relying more on new customers eager do spend money (and don't know better) on expensive avid brand controllers, without thinking about their long-time much-spending customers? I feel ashamed...

I don't wee this as a win win for our studio. I'd rather pay extra for a driver and keep my control24 since it it more or less the heart of my daily workflow. And nobody would buy a used control24...

I always thought PT11 was a complete rewrite. I'm not a programmer, I make my living in music but to me it looks like a rewrite would make them decide which code to include and not include.

I have to say that I have meat few companies that are more reluctant to have a dialog with its user base compare to avid. I don't know what to say about their attitude except for saddening.
