I just did an experiment. It does not crash with no plugins or with Auto Align and VMR. So I guess Distressor is the guilty party. I've seen this exact same thing happen before with Effect Rack. ...

Some tracks I can freeze just fine and others cause PT to crash. If I restart and try again on the same tracks it will crash again. It doesn't seem like there is a common theme, like it's always...
