Yeah, single core M1 mini is 1705 vs Studio ultra 1793. Negligible difference. A mini with more RAM, ports, and more cores would be ideal. Basically a studio without the fan noise. ;)

All of the M1 Macs have similar single core performance, from the Air thru the Studio Ultra.

Does Scootch work with the latest version of pro tools? I contacted him a year ago and he advised he had stopped developing the software and couldn’t guarantee it would work.
