Has there been any response to this? I just encountered replaced audio yesterday. I had guitars playing through a kick drum track. After restarting protools, it reverted back to normal.

I think he means the "Region Overlap." It a view setting under View>Region>Overlap. Basicaly it just tells you whether you can trim the region out or not or if it has been placed on top of another...
