Hey gang. Just dropped by and saw this thread.

Re: MAC
I agree, as well. But I would like to see Win 2000 support. I'm about to start adding MIDI, and I'd love to do it via USB. Any word on a Win 2000 update?

I don't know where this whole thing stands right now, but as far as some sort of interface, I'd like to have sort of a users forum where there isn't just a bunch of downloadable presets, but a...

Re: Can\'t make short fades (DAE error 9060)
Everything is cool now. I put all of my data drives back to FAT 16, and it worked fine. Screw NTFS until it works right. Isn't NTFS supposed to work? Just wondering if I'm not configuring something...

Re: Planning machine room for noisey computer / bit 3, advice please
I had this same problem. My solution was a bit different. I just made all my drives external via a 15 ft SCSI cable (not cheap), and ran them into a neighboring room through a small removable panel...

Hey all. As I'm moving into more sound design, I'm realizing that I need a good field recording setup to collect sounds. I'm pretty set on getting the Marantz mini-disk recorder, unless I hear some...

Yo. Yeah, stay away from CompUSA and generic brands. I've had some big problems with them. I use them occasionally for data backup, but for client work, spend a little extra.
I really like Sony....
