Digi 002 - Can't Monitor Input

I'm accustomed to the MBox 2 and before that the M Audio Mobile Pre. Both of these enable you to hear, say, a microphone plugged into an input, without any software manipulation.

Now I have the...

I downloaded PT 8 last week, what looked to be the latest version, but then it said it needed a critical update and directed me to what turned out to be 8.0.1.

Re: Please confirm 8.0.4 Compatible w/i7 Macbook Pro

You know, I don't remember if I experimented with that or not. I'm guessing I did; it sounds familiar. There were a few workarounds at the time too - turn this on, turn this off, disable this or...

Re: Please confirm 8.0.4 Compatible w/i7 Macbook Pro

Ha, with 30+ views you'd think someone had the inside scoop. The PDF for the release suggests it's been fixed, but I'm still not sure. I can't remember exactly all the problems I had, mainly those...

Please confirm 8.0.4 Compatible w/i7 Macbook Pro

Hey all ... Last I was around here, it ended up with me returning Pro Tools 8.0.3 because of some gnarly issues - kernel panics, PT 8 constantly getting hung up, etc - that wouldn't go away. It...

Re: Mbox 2 with Macbook Pro 15" i7 not working

I just today got my refund from Avid for the PT8LE upgrade I purchased.

The tech support people I spoke to said a fix was imminent but couldn't say what that meant exactly - a month, two, more...
