The damn processor in my protools box has died, I could replace it but why not have a sneaky upgrade for not much more money?

Could anyone tell me if this MB/processor combo wlil be ok...

Thanks everyone, I've been a PT user for 15+ years so I have done all the above with 2 exceptions, 1. Freeze all tracks until mixing.. It hung halfway through the freezing process.

I'll try it, but my first go resulted in a hang while it was freezing a VI track with not a lot on it... sigh.

Long time user here, I've been running PT 12 (All versions through to 12.5.2) since it was issued, I'm halfway through a project and now it won't run for 5 minutes without crashing...

Thanks John at least I'm not alone, it must be something to do with this machine as I put 12.5 on my old box and it doesn't happen. into the BIOS I go! :)

Do you have the view set to notes regions or blocks? I have no problems in those 3 states.
