Can you drag audio from the Pro Tools edit window or clip list and drop it straight into Ableton?

That's a really interesting solution. I did a tiny bit of research on Ableton rewired to Pro Tools when I was considering ditching Cubase but read that Ableton was 'crippled' when used as a Rewire...

I am pretty astounded that such a simple but very useful feature that I used regularly in Cubase isn't possible in Pro Tools. I hope they can address it one day maybe by bundling their own sampler...

After doing some more research the question I realise I needed to ask is,

Did they ever add drag and drop functionality to AAX?

I have seen a few posts saying that they hoped they would add it...

I'm sure I remember reading that the drag and drop functionality stopped working when they released the AAX version.
