we used to get this a lot but since we upgraded to one of the latest cs versions (the one that fixed the sends deactivating), it *seems* to have gone away. are you on the latest cs version?

i wound up putting it back into the trim plugin. the editor was kind enough to extend all his automation beyond the region boundaries and didn't use volume...
