hey doc, it sounds like you do need more memory, os 9 is a hog i just upgraded to it and I had this problem and I have 256ram its not an os bug.

also got a Q for you a about the new motu oms driver. do you have to get it from the freemidi 1.45 download or is there another way 'cause I just cleaned installed OS 9.0.4 and did'nt see...

me too please,
have b&W G3 w/ 8.6 just upgaded to 9.0.4
with 8.6 it would hang at start up at the digi icon. Just did a clean install w/ os 9 but now I get a hang at the complete begining...

my opinion get a midi interface without usb and get a gport to connect to the modem port I know it seems like a step backwards but you will save yourself some usb headaches its far from...

ahh yes I too have been dealing with this for a while on my B&W G3 in every which way. at first I thought it was the macally mouse conflicting with digi but i believe it is something to do with USB...
