Open Session with video playback engine disabled

Hello!
Does anyone know if it is possible to prevent Pro Tools from automatically launched the video playback engine when opening a session containing a video?

Oh I don't remember... Maybe you can just ask them or find the Avid pages which list the compatible chassis for older Pro Tools TDM systems.

There is a Magma Expansion Chassis with 7 PCIe Slots. It's not sold anymore. You could dig in the legacy pages of Magma to find it and then search eBay or the usual suspects selling used audio gear...

If it is recognised the option you mentioned appears in the Peripherals/Synchronization menu. That being said.. did check DigiTest? It has a menu for the Sync HD.

I think you just need the Dante Controller app to specify which of the 64 channels go to the the Dante Via Stereo Pair and the Dante Via 16 channels pair.

He's talking Field Recorder Workflow. That's not possible by now. You have to use on third party software like SoundFlow or program it yourself with Keyboard Maestro and alike.

AFAIK you also need MTC but when both is present and the slave box is ticked in the preferences Pro Tools should chase any incoming signal on that MIDI port by itself.
