That's the weird thing... the current playback engine IS the HDX. But I think the OS compatibility might be the issue. Because of my current ALP license, I need to stay on PT12.5.2. Any ideas on...

I came across the weirdest thing today. I wrote a marker label with three dots (periods) after the word, i.e. "verse 1..."

FIXED IT!!!

As it turns out, the loops were buried too deep into the drive. I had them stored in MAC>Application>Avid>Pro Tools>Loops>and so on...

When I am using the Workspace window to preview loops and audio files, it crashes Pro Tools. When I click on the little speaker icon, Pro Tools thinks for about five seconds and then BAM! Crashed...

Are you on a Mac system? Did you try repairing your disk permissions? Worked for me when I was having issues.
