Re: Pro Control and PT10, send causes crash

I'm interested to see how this works out. I have a minty Pro Control and Fader Pack that I've been using since 2001. I don't want to learn a new controller if I don't have to.

Re: Audio signal bar shoots up!??!?!?!?!

Actually just kind of fixed this, I think. I had taken the built in input and output off the list of devices to use in Audio/MIDI setup. Added them back and removed the MBox2 Mini when I was trying...

Re: Audio signal bar shoots up!??!?!?!?!

Hi,

Did you ever get any help on this? I'm having a similar issue with an MBox2 Mini and PT10. When I arm a track, I get a pop and the meter goes into the yellow and stays there. Unarm and it goes...

Re: pro control fader pack

Is that changed functionality? The PC and fader pack on my Mix Plus never sleep.

Re: Side Cap Bolt Sizes?

Hi David, I just went and pulled a couple of mine. Surprisingly, the ones at the "narrow" end at the front aren't shorter. I pulled out the dial caliper, and it said they were .134" inches in...

Re: LE and the ProControl

I'd be interested to know this, as well. I have about a 6 year-old Mix+ TDM system running on a G4, and I just bought an MBox2 Mini with LE 7.4.2 to run on my MacBook Pro. I'd love to know if I could...

Re: Mac OS X 10.3.7 Qualified

Yes. Is 10.3.7 okay with 6.4.1 on Mix Plus? Enquiring minds want to know. I'm still at 10.3.4 right now.

Thanks,

Sean

Re: Do the Knobs Come Off?

Phooey... Well, I'll probably skip it, then. I already had to take it apart once to replace the front panels. I guess popping the top out isn't so hard... we'll see.
Thanks for the reply, though....

Re: DAE Error -1 Starting 6.4.1 w MixPlus on 10.3.4

Anybody? Surely, this happens to someone else.

DAE Error -1 Starting 6.4.1 w MixPlus on 10.3.4

Anybody know what this error is, and how I can get it to quit? It happens if I have quit PT and try to restart it. It will keep doing this until I reboot, after which PT starts up fine.
Now, 10.3.4...

Do the Knobs Come Off?

I have a Pro Control, and I want to change out the knob for the Main (1-8) volume to a bigger knob, maybe an easy to spot aluminum one, but I don't know if these knobs pull off or not. I gave it a...

Replacing front "edge" panel?

Hi all,

I love my ProControl (expanded with one fader pack) generally, but one thing bugs me about it: the flimsiness of the "rubberized" coating they put on the front edge of the console.
I...

Re: Digi 001 and SiS Motherboard?

Thanks. Looks like it's worth a try. Now all I have to do is look up how to de-auth my copy of D-Verb on the old machine, and re-auth it on the new one.

Thanks again,

Sean

Digi 001 and SiS Motherboard?

Hi,

I have read that Digi doesn't support the 001 on systems with SiS chipsets, but just because it's not supported doesn't necessarilty mean it won't work.
I've got a "regular" PT rig, but I've...

Re: Getting Around the Real Time Bounce?

Hmm... Maybe that's what I was missing. I usually do some normalizing, but I should be able to normalize and then export that, right?

Re: Getting Around the Real Time Bounce?

Oh, I do, too. I often find something while listening to the bounce that I want to fix. It's not the 3 minute bounces that bug me, or even the 7 minute ones. The ones that annoy me are the ones where...

Getting Around the Real Time Bounce?

Hi all,

Is there any way to bounce or process a final mix from Pro Tools other than real time? I'm guessing the real time bounce was to allow the use of outboard gear on mixdown. But if you're not...

ProControl Bolster (front edge thingy)

Hi all,

I love my ProControl, expanded to 16 faders, and hopefully more soon.
My one gripe about it is I hate the bolster on the front edge. Aside from being hard and uncomfortable, every time I...

Re: Audible click track without using external MIDI?

Just to update everyone, I did go and grab the free version of SoundTank, and some drum samples from their site, and I did finally get it to work the way I was describing. Plug the SampleTank in on a...

Re: Audible click track without using external MIDI?

So you're saying do what davidp mentioned above, and routing the QuickTime audio back into PT somehow, or into an external mixer?
If so, how do you have this set up?
