Re: Snow Leopard

Structure, Strike and Hybrid have this problem for me too. Makes PT unusable under SL for me unfortunately. Using time machine to go back to 10.5.8 now.
I am using a 5 week old Macbook Pro unibody.

Re: Some GLARING oversights

Thanks for getting involved in this thread Digi! I have called many local pro PT users here and all would love this implemented. The ability to make a new playlist automatically on every record pass...

Re: Some GLARING oversights

Is this the sort of thing we could look forward to in a CS update or will we have to wait for a major version update? As we now know, the hooks for these commands are already written into the...

Re: Some GLARING oversights

Yes indeed. This particular playlist oversight is just so glaringly obvious and fixing it would make such a massive difference to workflow for anyone using ProTools even half seriously! And......

Re: Some GLARING oversights

It would be nice if digi had at least _something_ to say about this strange and extremely silly situation! Forget loop recording! How about a toggle option for a new playlist for ANY record enabled...

Re: Some GLARING oversights

Yes, but it looks like it would be a very trivial amount of programming needed to take the restraints off Playlists being one of Pro tools MOST powerful features! Having a keyboard shortcut for New...

Re: Some GLARING oversights

I just checked out the digidesign control surface PDF sheets and there is no mention of any shortcut for Playlists that I can see. I don't think the control surfaces do this at all.

Re: Why not Midi Playlist View?

I think that Digi has really screwed up on this. Playlists are one of THE MOST powerful and useful features of Pro Tools and to have no keyboard shortcut for new and duplicate playlists and no...

Very strange!

I'm quite possibly missing something but there seems to be no keyboard shortcut for new or duplicate playlists AND no playlist fold down view for midi tracks! I'd rather have key commands for these...

Some GLARING oversights

Unless I'm missing something there seems to be no keyboard shortcut for new or duplicate playlists AND no playlist fold down view for midi tracks! Absolutely crazy!
