Looking to upgrade, not sure if possible

I'm looking to make some upgrades, but I'm not sure if what I want to do is feasible.

I do remote recordings, so having a laptop is essential for my purposes. I'm currently running ProTools 9.0.6...

Ok, what i think happened is that my AIFF audio files have been changed to "Source Files", and "Unix Executable files".

The thing is, these WERE backups.

I find it troubling that backing up one's files corrupts them.

It doesn't re-reverse the reverb, because the verb has been printed as a wave form, and is no longer a logrhythm.
