I'm sometimes asked to do mastering on low budget proejcts for clients who can't afford a real mastering engineer. What plugins do you like to use for mastering in Pro Tools and how do you use them?

Can\'t get SPDIF inputs to work in LE V6.4 Digi 002

I'm trying to use an Apogee Mini Me and can't find the SPDIF option for input to a track. The analog inputs show up for each track, but not the SPDIF. Any thoughts?

Nice response! It's good to hear when a 'big guy' takes up for the 'little guy'. I'm changing my position. I've had my 001 over 3 years and I'm happy, but obsolete in less than a year after...

I had my wife load the discs into a cheap portable while my back was turned. I was able to identify the disc I was hearing 5 out of 7 times listeing through some decent headphones.

This is a very good article. I have also heard that I need to find a company that will record at 4x instead of 16x and also ask them to calibrate the machines before the run. I am a bit confused...
