Yeah. Just was thinking of a video editor with 64 tracks of audio. I think Media composer just added that feature.

We are talking about the tracks in record limit with non Avid hardware.
This is why I have to carry around 20 pounds of stuff to record 64 tracks via Dante.

One cable 64 channels in and out. With computers only getting stronger, I'm sure Audinate will make DVS have more than 64 channels soon.

Currently you will need PT Ultimate and Avid's hardware to record more than 32 channels.

So for me to use Protools I have to carry around a 5 space rack with an Avid HD native, Dante network...

The beautiful thing of the Hybrid engine is that you will only need AAX DSP plugs when you want low latency. So only buy AAX DSP for your tracking plugs.
