UPDATE #2: I fixed it!

On the Windows toolbar I had to go to Playback devices - make sure the Apollo was enabled

Then I went to the Recording devices - made sure the Apollo was disabled

UPDATE: Downloaded ASIO4ALL and getting the same AAE error again, worked yesterday but not today apparently!

Well guys, after doing a bit more research, it turns out that it's my preamp (Tascam US-1800) that's causing all the problems.

Now if only there was some way to deal with not being able to record...
