My (hopeful) guess is the ability to offload native PT plugins to UAD DSP's.

With Luna starting to turn heads away from PT, maybe Avid and UAD put their heads together to attempt a win-win...

Avid Cloud broken AGAIN

Approximately once every couple weeks, I cannot sign into Avid Link, getting the error:

If anyone is using Universal Audio's UAD card(s), PT 9's ADC is an absolute Godsend. It works perfectly on my Mac/Digi 002/UAD-2 quad. No more mucking about with Mellowmuse.

No problems at all. I'm also using a UAD-2 Quad card, and the ADC works great on my Digi 002 system on my Mac.

Have you looked at the ATA plugin from Mellowmuse? Once you get your head wrapped around the concept, it works pretty well. Not too expensive, either.
