Okay, so after trashing preferences and reinstalling PT didn't work either, I performed a complete re-reinstall of the entire system. Again... :eek:

So now it gets weird... Recording via Keyboard Input (I don't have a MIDI input device set up as I am currently between studio places) works perfectly...

Yes, you're right, I didn't scroll down. In clip view PT would show MIDI events regardless of their note. Also in velocity view – that's why I turned that on – you could see the velocity...

I tried with both Slate Trigger and Melda Drum Leveler. Midi generation works fine with both and the Midi/Instrument tracks both are receiving Midi. I can even play another instrument with these...
